What began as a community resource in 1999 has become a respected pillar of fine arts education in the Texas Hill Country. Harmony School of Creative Arts was incorporated and achieved 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2002, offering extensive instruction in music, dance, and art. With Harmony’s vision to nurture and guide the artistic talents of Hill Country residents, the doors are open to anyone who wants to study the arts. Students of all ages and backgrounds are provided instruction and various avenues of participation. These activities enable each of them to discover their talents and express themselves creatively throughout the community.
As a non-profit, we offer a scholarship program to encourage the pursuit of creative arts regardless of socioeconomic status.
Now, 25 years later, Harmony serves hundreds of students of all ages and provides a systemic approach to arts instruction using balanced curriculum and numerous opportunities for creativity, performance, innovation, education and service. Additionally, summer day camps and intensives encompass a wider variety of arts activities for enrichment and concentrated experiences.
Each year, classes are adjusted to meet the evolving demand of the economy and demographics of the community. Exceptional staff and faculty at Harmony are passionate about training students toward their highest potential to enrich the lives of its students and, in turn, the residents of the Highland Lakes.
Harmony School of Creative Arts offers a three-fold arts education program: creative arts, music, and dance. Within each program, Harmony strives to attract talented, educated staff who are accomplished performers and artists themselves. Year-round classes and summer camps are scheduled to both maximize the limited space the school currently has, as well as to encourage enrollment for students of all ages, from toddlers to senior citizens.

It is part of our mission to offer arts education to every person, regardless of their ability to pay. Our scholarship program offers financial assistance to those in need and is made possible by our generous donors and supporters. Harmony's scholarship program is named in honor of our founder, Barbara Bend.

We offer classes in dance, music and art instruction weekly on a semester basis. Fall, spring and summer semesters can offer different learning opportunities. We offer classes for age 3 to 100! Our classes can fill quickly, so we encourage early enrollment.
We offer private lessons in music, dance and art. We offer private dance lessons for individuals and couples for ballroom, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical. We also offer private art lessons for ages 9 to adult. Most all of our music instruction takes place in a private lesson setting.
During the summer, we offer several youth camps that can fill quickly! Creative Arts Campers receive one hour instruction in art, music and dance each day, along with other creative opportunities and fun. The camp ends with a performance on the last day. We also offer dance camps and intensives for ages 3-18.
